Enterprise Video Search
Enterprise video search gives organizations the ability to query their entire video library — recorded meetings, operational footage, training sessions, surveillance archives — using natural language. VidForgeX processes, indexes, and makes searchable any volume of enterprise video with AI-grade accuracy and citation-level attribution.
The enterprise video problem
Enterprise organizations accumulate video at scale — and almost none of it is searchable. Training sessions, shift recordings, surveillance footage, operational walkthroughs, and performance reviews pile up in storage. The files exist. The knowledge inside them doesn't.
The traditional answer is manual review: an analyst watches footage, takes notes, and reports findings. At 50 queries per week across a team with 200+ hours of footage, that's 40–120 hours of analyst time spent on video scrubbing alone. Most questions never get asked because the time cost is too high.
VidForgeX enterprise video search makes every archived video instantly queryable in natural language — eliminating the manual review bottleneck and making the knowledge inside your footage operationally accessible.
What enterprise video search replaces
| Old workflow | With VidForgeX | Time saved |
|---|---|---|
| Watch 40-min recording to find a specific event | Query: "Find the moment the equipment alarm went off" → timestamp answer in <30s | ~39 minutes per query |
| Review 20 sessions to find the best-performing shift | Query: "Which shift had the highest completion rate this week?" → ranked answer with citations | 2–5 hours per analysis |
| Manually tag every video upload with metadata | AI extracts content automatically on upload — zero tagging required | 5–10 min per upload |
| Track down a person across 10 camera feeds | Query: "Where was person X on Oct 14?" → chronological sighting timeline | 30–90 min per investigation |
| Compare quarterly performance across 60+ sessions | Query: "Compare Q2 vs Q3 cycle time averages" → data-grounded comparison | Full day of spreadsheet work |
Enterprise-grade architecture
VidForgeX is built for enterprise requirements from the ground up — not retrofitted from a consumer product:
Every organization's videos and analyses are fully isolated. Queries never return results from another organization.
Five roles from viewer to owner govern who can upload, analyze, and view results. Access is enforced at the API layer — not just the UI.
Enterprise organizations can be assigned dedicated cloud VM endpoints via the admin portal. All analyses for that organization route to the dedicated infrastructure, isolating processing capacity from the shared pool.
All search queries, video uploads, analysis submissions, and member actions are logged to the activity log. Export-ready audit trail for compliance review.
Integration with enterprise tools
VidForgeX enterprise video search is not a closed system. It connects to your existing enterprise tooling via two integration paths:
- MCP Tool Server at
mcp.vidforgex.com— connects VidForgeX to any MCP-compatible AI system (Claude, custom agents). Enterprise AI workflows can call VidForgeX video search tools directly from within LLM conversations, automation pipelines, and BI integrations. - REST API at
api.vidforgex.com— standard HTTP API for integration with dashboards, reporting tools, and custom internal applications. Supports per-org API keys with scoped access and configurable rate limits.
Enterprise ROI example: A logistics operation with 150 hours of monthly shift footage previously required 3 analyst hours per week to answer performance questions. After deploying VidForgeX enterprise video search, the same questions are answered in under 2 minutes via natural language query — freeing those 3 hours for higher-value work and enabling the team to ask 10x more questions per week than before.
Supported video verticals
VidForgeX enterprise video search is domain-aware. Different verticals use different analysis models and chunk types optimized for what matters in that domain:
- Sports and coaching — player performance metrics, formation detection, sprint rate, possession analysis, and person-level progression across sessions
- Operations and manufacturing — cycle time, non-value-added activity, SOP compliance, workstation utilization, and workflow sequence detection
- Security and forensic — person sighting timelines, crowd density, incident detection, inter-camera tracking, and location-time attribution
Enterprise customers with specialized domains can configure custom AI prompts (AI Prompts feature) and custom Rule Templates (adherence evaluation) to extend the search index with domain-specific extracted concepts.
